FAQS

WHAT IS CHRISTIAN CONCILIATION?

Christian conciliation is the act of bringing two or more parties together to explore a conflict, to identify the issues and to develop a workable agreement that is written by the parties involved with the help of a conciliator. What distinguishes Christian conciliation from mediation is its focus on dealing with conflict biblically and its aim of reconciling people with both God and one another.

WHAT IS CONFLICT COACHING?

When one party desires to address a conflict, but lacks the necessary tools to do so, a Pathway conflict coach will assist them in addressing and responding to their situation. Unlike mediation that takes place between two or more parties, conflict coaching focuses on one person in the conflict. Conflict Coaching is designed to equip a party to address their conflict biblically and if appropriate to empower them to approach the other party with the goal of resolution and reconciliation.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CONCILIATION AND COUNSELLING?

Biblical counselling is a valuable asset in addressing the heart needs of individuals, couples, or groups. Biblical counselling begins with the heart issues and assists in understanding why individuals respond as they do and how to further grow. Conciliation on the other hand explores a situational conflict, thereby revealing the heart issues directly involved in that conflict. The ultimate goal of conciliation is relational reconciliation to God and others.

WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?

Each case is unique. Following an assessment of the scope of the conflict and of the situation, a Pathway conciliator will present a detailed quote and recommendations to each of the parties. Click here for more details.
